Nathan did a thorough job getting to the problem and figuring cause. After diagnosing, running water several times through line and draining, he had to go to the condo owner below me to further diagnose drain stoppage. Backup of condensation triggered furnace to shut off, caused by an outside frozen drain pipe at my condo. However, until my HOA maintenance can thaw/fix drain pipe, I’m not to turn furnace on, as the problem will continue. I wasn’t happy with the seemingly exorbitant (minimum) initial charge, however. But single-degree temps outside, late time of day, and needing heat, I felt I had no choice.
