Work That Changes Things for the People You Serve

When a homeowner's furnace goes out in January, the person who walks through their door changes the outcome of their night. When a family's electrical problem has been misdiagnosed twice already, the technician who gets the diagnosis right earns something no review fully captures. These moments happen every day, in heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and generator systems, in homes and commercial buildings across West Michigan. At Vander Hyde Services, the people on our team are the reason those calls go well.

What You Bring Makes the Work Better

We've been doing this long enough to know the best work comes from people who bring their own perspective to the job. Whether you've spent years in the trades, come from a background in customer service, or are building your skills for the first time, what you know and how you approach problems adds something this team needs.

Our technicians walk into homes other contractors have already visited, often without solving the problem. The ability to listen, think differently, and communicate what you found matters as much as the technical knowledge you carry in. When you work here, your strengths shape how we solve the problems in front of us.

Tell Us What You’re Building

We're interested in who you are and where you're headed. Your goals matter here. If you're building toward a long-term career in home services, developing a new area of proficiency, or stepping into a customer-facing role for the first time, tell us.

We've served this community for over 35 years because the people on our team care about what they're building. We'd rather this company grow around what our people are working toward, and that relationship runs in both directions.
